Hiking Holiday in the Dolomites – Summer in Val Badia

Experience summer in the Dolomites

Summer in Rina means long days, crisp mountain air and the Dolomites right on your doorstep. Whether you prefer exploring on foot or by bike, everything begins just outside your apartment. And if your perfect day simply involves sitting outdoors and admiring the mountains, you’ve come to exactly the right place.

Hiking in Val Badia

Our farmhouse is the perfect starting point for hiking around Plan de Corones and the Dolomites. Gentle walks begin right outside the farmhouse, while those heading higher into the mountains can drive to the sports ground in Rina or up to Passo delle Erbe. From there, the hiking area around Sass de Putia opens up, offering routes for every level and scenery and views that truly speaks for itself. Passo delle Erbe is only a few minutes away by car (parking charges apply) or can also be reached by bus from Antermoia.

A personal recommendation from the family: The lake Glittnersee, around half an hour beyond Col dal Lech, is Angelika’s favourite walk. And don’t miss sunset at Passo delle Erbe – it’s breathtaking.
